Kebabs, tikka, steaks and platters from an open coal grill — eaten in the pine air, seven days a week.
Terrace Grill is a small, family-run kitchen in Murree built around one thing: a long charcoal grill and the people standing over it. Meat is marinated in-house each morning, breads come out of the tandoor to order, and everything is carried straight out to a terrace that looks over the pines.
Come for a plate of tikka and a cup of doodh patti, or take the whole family through a mixed grill as the hills go dark.

In 2018 we took a narrow plot in Masumma, put a charcoal grill along the back wall and set eight tables out on the roof. The idea was simple — cook the food our family cooks at home, but over coal, and let people eat it outside in the hill air.
Eight tables became thirty. The grill got longer. Most of the kitchen has been with us since the first winter, and the marinade recipes have not changed since.
We buy our meat from one butcher in Murree, grind our own spice mix every week, and cook only what we can cook properly. If the trout does not come in fresh, it comes off the board that day.
“Grill it slowly, salt it late, and never serve a plate you would not put in front of your own mother.”
